Haven't updated in a while huh. But anyway school's been rather hectic. Boring lectures. Urp. Now I'm just looking forward to clinical attachments! :D
Alot of jokes to share (: Oh, we were discussing our project just now. (Due date in a week's time, TWELVE people working together.) How effecient can we be. Just now while we were discussing most of us, in fact I think all of us were confused. I mean, just couldn't get what each other was talking about. I myself didn't even know what I was asking! Hahaha. Okay, that's the problem of working with so many people. The teachers don't know how to think la.
Okay, Qing Ying lent me her guitar! So nice of her right. And she taught me how to play basic strumming and all the basic stuff la.Haha, okay so now instead of playing piano, I'm trying to play the guitar =/ Not bad la, within 2 hours I alrdy know how to play a song okay! :D Heheheh. But my left fingers are kind of numb now. QY said that if you want to be a good pianist then you can't play guitar 'cos you'll lose the "feel" of your fingers. Ahhh! I don't know if I want that or not. But anyway keyboard only needs bassplaying (using the thumb and last finger). And I'd rather be an all-rounder then be a pianist! Haha :D
Okay, I really hope things go well for us before the semester break. Probably going to meet up on Sunday to compile everything and rehearse before our presentation on Monday. Oh, and like TWELVE of us have to present within 30 minutes. How is that possible huh. Okay nevermind.
You know what, Jordan's family is like receiving salvation one by one. And that's really very good news. And I'm inspired by it. I'd be really overjoyed when my family receives Christ. Okay I'll share a true story from a book by Rick Warren.
A young boy name James Stewart was not a believer, and in fact was antichristian. His mother bought him a Bible one day, laid it on his desk, and said,
"Here, Son, is your new Bible."
James replied, "What's this for?"
His mother answered, "You don't know it yet, but you're about to become a Christian."
James responded, "No I'm not. I'm going to play football and go to hell."
His mother stood up in church that night and said, "My son is about to become a Christian. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm thanking God in advance."
So Jame's friends began to walk up to him on the street and say, "I heard you became a Christian."
"No, it's just my crazy mother. I'm going to play football and go to hell."
But his mother told her pastor, "I want you to save twenty minutes on Saturday night for my son to give his testimony."
The Friday night before that Saturday, James was playing football when suddenly he felt God's presence right on the playing field. He got down on his knees and prayed right in front of everybody: "God, I really need You in my life. If You can make a difference, come in and change me. Save me, whatever it takes. Make me born again."
James ran off the field in his uniform, down the street, and up the stairs into his house. He hugged his mother and proclaimed, "Mom, I just became a Christian!"
She replied, "Of course! I've been telling you that for three weeks!"
